On May 31, 2016 11 y/o Deontae Mitchell was kidnapped from Nino’s Market in Detroit, MI. Upon learning of his disappearance, I was in constant prayer for his safe return. Unfortunately, June 2, 2016 he was found strangled to death in a field, all over $75.00. My city wept and so did I. I was in disbelief that anyone could take the life of an innocent child. Not being able to do anything to change situation the way I wish I could have, I visited the memorial where he was found. God bless his soul.
